BARBARA TAPP
Illustrator/Artist
I currently divide my time as an architectural illustrator and watercolor painter.
Architectural drawing requires accuracy and discipline while painting is my chance
to dispense with reality and let go.
My watercolors are freedom to experiment with ideas, techniques and emotions.
This is a wonderful creative time of my life.
I graduated in Interior Design, Sydney Australia in 1975 and have worked as a graphic artist at Taronga Zoo, the illustrator of the Karen Brown Travel Guides, a scientific and medical illustrator, and currently as an architectural illustrator and sketch artist for the building and real estate industry in the San Francisco Bay Area.
